The Role

As Head of Machine Learning, you will spearhead the development and deployment of state-of-the-art computer vision models for medical imaging applications. You’ll lead a team of world-class researchers and engineers to push the boundaries of AI in healthcare, optimizing performance, interpretability, and real-world deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead & Innovate: Define the ML roadmap, architect novel deep learning solutions, and ensure best-in-class model performance in medical imaging.
• Computer Vision Excellence: Develop and optimize CNNs, transformers, generative models, and self-supervised learning for medical image analysis.
• Scalability & Deployment: Drive the transition from research to production, ensuring robust, scalable, and regulatory-compliant AI solutions.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing ML team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Data Strategy & Model Training: Leverage large-scale multimodal datasets to enhance diagnostic accuracy, interpretability, and generalizability.
• Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure AI models align with healthcare regulations (e.g., FDA, CE marking) and ethical AI principles.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 7+ years in ML/AI, with a strong focus on computer vision and deep learning; experience in medical imaging is a huge plus.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, and scalable ML pipelines (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Research & Industry Balance: Strong publication record in CVPR, NeurIPS, MICCAI or equivalent, with a proven ability to ship real-world AI solutions.
• Leadership & Vision: Experience leading ML teams, driving innovation, and translating research into impactful healthcare applications.
• Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with regulatory requirements for AI in healthcare and medical imaging
