Job summary

PGA National Resort (Salamander Palm Beach) in Palm Beach Gardens, FL seeks a Director of Leisure Sales to drive transient revenue through luxury travel partnerships and preferred channels.

You will lead strategic account development, negotiate rates, represent the resort at industry events, and collaborate with Global Leisure Sales, Revenue Management and Marketing to exceed guest expectations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, in person and written.
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting understanding.
• Knowledge of hospitality systems such as Delphi, Salesforce, and Opera.

Responsibilities

• Increase transient revenue from retail agencies, consortia and luxury travel partners.
• Develop relationships with local corporations to grow revenue from negotiated accounts.
• Set and negotiate rates for corporate and local volume accounts with Revenue Management support.
• Lead sales calls, presentations and client entertainment with retail travel agents and luxury managers.
• Host on-property FAM trips, site inspections and educational tours.
• Collaborate with Preferred Hotels & Resorts and other Salamander properties when applicable.
• Update Delphi and manage bids in Lanyon; maintain sales budgets.
