Job summary

UEC Advanced Electronics, a leader in advanced power systems, seeks an experienced engineering leader to direct Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Systems teams focused on lithium-ion power products. You will guide technology evaluation, customer engagements, and lifecycle engineering from concept through production.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in electromechanical and power systems, strong cross-functional leadership, and a proven track record of translating design into manufacturable

Qualifications

• Must have proven leadership of electrical, mechanical, software and systems teams.
• Experience with electromechanical control and power systems, especially lithium-ion.
• Strong customer interface and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Systems Engineering teams focusing on lithium-ion power products.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for growth.
• Interface with customers and provide engineering leadership through the product lifecycle.
• Lead specification development, requirements, verification and validation planning.
• Support proposal preparation, evaluation and bid strategy activities.
• Own and maintain engineering processes to ensure quality and consistency.
• Ensure projects meet UEC quality standards and customer expectations.
• Lead transition of designs into manufacturing for lithium-ion products.
