Job summary

Scrunch, a venture-backed startup focused on AI-first marketing solutions, is seeking a strategic Head of Legal to build and scale its legal function. The role involves leading commercial contracting (SaaS, MSAs, DPAs), managing regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA), overseeing corporate governance, and supporting fundraising rounds.

As the sole legal counsel, you will act as a thought partner to the executive team and manage external counsel.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of legal experience with a mix of law firm and in-house roles.
• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree is required.
• Bar admission is required.
• Candidates must reside in one of the specified US states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, IL, IN, MA, MD, MO, MN, NH, NJ, NY, OH, TX, or UT.
