Job summary

LeadVenture is seeking a Head of Legal to serve as the company's senior legal executive and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will lead legal strategy, risk management, and M&A execution for a high-growth, private equity-backed vertical software company.

The role involves overseeing commercial contracts, procurement, privacy, and security, while acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO, CFO, and PE sponsors.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive legal experience with significant in-house responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal strategy, risk management and M&A execution for a PE-backed software company.
• Oversee commercial contracts, procurement, privacy and security.
