Job summary

Google is seeking a Director of Learning Technology to deliver our next‑gen learning platform and labs for internal sales, technical training and external training, while maintaining our current platform. You will lead multiple teams globally (40+ engineers) and guide strategic direction across Engineering, UX, and Product Management.

The role emphasizes engineering excellence, a broad vision with granular technical direction, data privacy, and an AI‑driven responsible culture.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in engineering/product leadership across inception, design, implementation and launch of B2C and B2B products.
• 15+ years of experience managing an engineering team.
• Experience leading engineering in a multi-stakeholder environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering working with product for a next generation educational platform for teaching and learning.
• Develop our technical platform strategy and innovation agenda; synthesize data to empower decision-making.
• Develop new platform capabilities to deliver personalized learning experiences across users, roles and industries.
• Foster an AI-inspired, responsible culture in software development and user-centered design.
