The Role

As the Head of Lead Generation & Demand Marketing, you will own the strategy and execution for building Vitesse's digital marketing engine. This role is critical in shifting Vitesse from a referral-driven growth model to a structured, scalable, and data-driven marketing-led pipeline generation engine across the U.S. and global markets.

You will develop and implement ABM strategies, digital campaigns (SEO, PPC, paid media, content marketing), marketing automation workflows, and analytics reporting frameworks, ensuring that marketing efforts drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact.

This role will be foundational to the long-term success of Vitesse's commercial strategy and is an exciting opportunity to shape the next phase of our growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive lead generation and demand marketing strategy, aligned with company GTM priorities (E&S, Specialty, Captives).
  • Launch and optimize Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns targeting key accounts.
  • Own digital marketing strategy and execution, including SEO, paid media, PPC, and LinkedIn marketing.
  • Manage marketing automation programs (HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo etc.), optimizing lead nurturing, scoring, and attribution models., working closely with the Sales Ops team.
  • Build multi-channel demand generation campaigns that drive measurable pipeline contribution and MQL-to-SQL conversion.
  • Launch full-funnel marketing performance dashboard and define lead gen KPIs.
  • Partner with Sales, Sales Ops, Product Marketing, Comms and Events Marketing teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and campaign execution.
  • Manage external agencies and contractors as needed to scale campaigns efficiently.
  • Lay the foundation for a high-performing lead generation team, including hiring and managing junior team members (Performance Marketing Specialist, etc.).

What Success Looks Like

  • A scalable demand generation engine delivering consistent, high-quality leads into the sales pipeline.
  • Clear attribution models and measurable marketing impact on revenue growth.
  • Successful launch of ABM programs, SEO strategy, and digital lead generation initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration with Commercial, Product Marketing, and RevOps teams to accelerate pipeline growth.
  • Marketing's influence on pipeline and revenue is tracked, reported, and celebrated.


Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B demand generation and digital marketing roles, ideally in B2B fintech, insurtech, and SaaS.
  • Proven success with ABM programs, SEO/SEM, paid media, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to build and interpret dashboards and performance reports.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, HubSpot (or similar CRM/marketing automation platforms).
  • Collaborative and cross-functional mindset — must thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and strategic thinking.
  • Experience building a team is a plus.
  • Prior experience in the insurance, fintech, or SaaS ecosystem preferred.
