Job summary

KB Home is seeking a seasoned Land Acquisition leader to drive strategy and operations for the division. You will set goals, implement policies, and lead staffing, training, and retention to ensure a strong land pipeline and successful growth.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in land acquisition or related field with proven management experience and a track record of closing acquisitions in the homebuilding industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Finance/Economics), Engineering, Real Estate, Planning, Government Relations or related field is required. Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee identification of land/lot opportunities, LOIs, negotiations, proforma analysis and purchase agreements.
• Manage preparation, analysis, and timely delivery of land packages to the Land Committee.
• Proactively search for land opportunities and build relationships with sellers and related parties.
• Direct and manage acquisition staff and design action plans to achieve division goals.
• Evaluate team performance and identify skill gaps; drive training and growth.
