Job summary

Guidehouse India seeks a Director of IT – Applications & Transformation to lead the full India IT organization and contribute to Guidehouse’s global technology strategy. You will build a scalable application capability supporting Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, and custom products, shaping talent, delivery methods, and partnerships.

You will drive platform ownership, transformation agendas, and governance while ensuring secure, scalable solutions and business outcomes across India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive enterprise technology experience, including leadership in a global or large-scale organization.
• Proven experience leading enterprise application delivery, platform teams, or technology transformation across multiple business functions.
• Experience building or scaling offshore/India-based application capabilities with talent, delivery governance, and leadership depth.
• Strong knowledge of core business functions and ability to connect process, data, controls, and technology into a transformation agenda.
• Experience with major enterprise platforms such as Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar; direct Workday/Dynamics preferred.
• Experience delivering or supporting custom-developed enterprise applications using modern engineering, integration, testing, DevSecOps, and lifecycle practices.
• Proven success partnering with senior executives, influencing across boundaries, and leading through ambiguity.
• Ability to manage geographically distributed teams, complex delivery portfolios, budgets, vendors, risk, and organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead India IT Enterprise Leadership spanning delivery, engineering, platform support, operations, and shared services.
• Translate global IT strategy into an integrated India capability and execution plan.
• Partner with global portfolio leaders and business leaders to shape roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Establish platform ownership discipline across design, configuration, development, integration, testing, deployment, and support.
• Develop reusable technical and delivery capabilities across engineering, integration, quality engineering, DevSecOps, data, and production readiness.
• Ensure India teams develop deep platform expertise and business-domain understanding, not just delivery capacity.
• Oversee governance, risk, financials, vendors, and transformation outcomes for India IT.
