Job description

Figure Technology Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: FIGR; OPEN: FGRS) is the leading blockchain-native capital marketplace for the origination, funding, sale and trading of tokenized assets. More than 480 partners use its loan origination system and capital marketplace. Collectively, Figure and its partners have originated over $30 billion of loans to date, among other products. The fastest growing components are Figure Connect, its credit marketplace, and Democratized Prime, Figure’s on-chain lend-borrow marketplace. Figure’s ecosystem also includes DART (Digital Asset Registry Technology) for asset custody and lien perfection, and $YLDS, a yield-bearing stablecoin registered with the SEC as a security under the Securities Act of 1933. Figure is the market leader in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization. The company has received triple-A ratings from S&P and Moody’s on multiple loan securitizations, the first of its kind for blockchain finance. We’re proud to be recognized as one of Forbes’ Top 50 Fintech Companies and CNBC’s World’s Top Fintech Companies.

Figure is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to own and execute the company’s investor relations program. This role reports to the VP, Corp Dev, IR & Strategy and will work in close collaboration with Figure’s CEO, CFO, and co-founder and Executive Chairman Mike Cagney. You’ll be the driving force on how we tell Figure’s story to the public markets, and you’ll also do the execution: shaping our shareholder and communication strategy, building the materials, meeting with investors and research analysts, running the calendar, and keeping the program moving day to day.

This is an individual contributor role. There’s no team underneath it, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on, owning processes end-to-end, and is energized, not deterred, by the pace around earnings. You will also work cross-functionally across the organization, especially with the Finance and Biz Ops teams, to build and communicate the metrics to clearly communicate the Figure story.

While a deep understanding and history in equity capital markets is a must-have, we’re also looking for someone who thinks about investor communication in a modern way. Public companies are increasingly reaching investors through more engaging earnings formats and direct digital channels. We want someone who brings fresh ideas while keeping the discipline and compliance a public company requires.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute an IR strategy that clearly communicates Figure’s financial performance, strategic direction, and market positioning.
  • Drive improvements in shareholder outreach strategy in order to attract new, high-quality investors into Figure’s shareholder base.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and financial media (WSJ, Bloomberg etc.), fostering strong relationships and ensuring transparent communication.
  • Manage relationships with equity research analysts from major investment banks, ensuring accurate and fair coverage of the company.
  • Oversee the preparation and dissemination of quarterly earnings releases and related conference calls, investor presentations, and other financial disclosures in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, peer activity, and investor sentiment to inform strategic messaging and provide insights to senior management.
  • Leverage knowledge of blockchain technology and real-world asset tokenization to effectively communicate the company's blockchain initiatives and their impact on the business model and market landscape to the investment community.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to address market volatility and other crises, maintaining investor confidence.

What We Look For

  • 5–10 years of experience in public markets investing, sell-side (equity research or ECM), or corporate IR.
  • A strong understanding of the equity capital markets and how equity investors evaluate companies, and the ability to anticipate their questions.
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and a strong sense of ownership over work products. You’re comfortable doing the scheduling, drafting, editing, and reading yourself, and working with the ups-and-downs of the earnings cycle.
  • Strong background in financial modeling, analysis, reporting, and familiarity with investor relations platforms.
  • Familiarity with public company disclosure requirements and Reg FD, or the ability to get up to speed quickly.
  • Proven ability to partner with executive leadership, build trust across all levels, and drive broadly accepted solutions.
  • A strong interest in the institutional application of blockchain and real-world asset tokenization.
  • An interest in modern investor engagement, including social and digital channels, retail investors, and new earnings formats.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to executives and investors.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects.
  • Established relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and financial media.
  • Adhere to all company security policies and data handling procedures.
  • Complete mandatory security awareness training within required timeframes.
  • Promptly report any suspected security incidents or suspicious activity to the Security team.
  • Base Compensation Range: $226,160 - $339,240/yr
  • Company equity in the form of RSUs

  • 11 observed holidays and PTO plan
  • Up to 12 weeks of paid family leave
