Job summary

Korn Ferry seeks a Head of Internal Audit to design and lead a best-in-class function reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer. You will drive risk management, controls, and governance, partnering with executives to close audit findings and strengthen processes across the company.

The role requires a senior leader with extensive audit experience, strong communication, and the ability to influence across functions in a fast-moving tech-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years of accounting and/or audit experience leading complex engagements.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and internal audit methodologies.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and build cross-functional relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills in fast-growing environments.

Responsibilities

• Strategic oversight: lead the annual audit plan across corporate shared services.
• Audit lifecycle management: plan, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up.
• Advisory & assurance: guide audit teams and ensure quality.
• Risk mitigation: assess enterprise risks and provide practical mitigations.
• Stakeholder partnership: develop action plans and close findings timely.
• Compliance & external support: oversee external audit assistance and remediation.
• Operational evolution: adapt audits as products and regulations evolve.
• Resource management: manage budgets, timelines, and audit resources.
• Team development: coach and grow audit leaders and staff.
