MoonPay Inc. is seeking a Chief Auditor to lead internal audit across a multi-entity global footprint, ensuring risk management and governance align with IIA standards. This is a rare opportunity to build the function from the ground up in a crypto-native company.

You will report to the Board, coordinate with external auditors, cover AML/KYC, custody, trading infrastructure, and regulatory exams, and help scale controls in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive internal audit experience in regulated financial institutions or trading venues.
• Hands-on experience auditing digital asset custody, crypto trading platforms, or blockchain infrastructure.
• Familiarity with safety-and-soundness standards, fiduciary obligations, and regulatory examinations.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement a comprehensive, risk-based internal audit program aligned with IIA standards.
• Provide internal audit coverage across MoonPay operations including AML/KYC/KYT and custody operations.
• Coordinate with external auditors for regulatory examinations and maintain readiness.
• Present findings, audit plans, and emerging risks to the Board and senior management.
