Job summary

MoonPay is hiring an FIU Analyst (US) to safeguard the platform against financial crime. You will work in the Financial Intelligence Unit to review alerts, conduct investigations, and escalate suspicious activity when needed. The role supports compliance with AML/CTF standards and collaborates with Risk and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in financial crime/compliance analytical or investigations roles.
• Experience with blockchain analytics solutions (e.g., Chainalysis TRM, Elliptic, CipherTrace, Scorechain).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze activity using transaction monitoring and blockchain analytics to identify atypical patterns.
• Review KYT alerts and on-chain activity for risk indicators.
• Conduct open-source searches related to customers and transactions.
• Assess information from internal systems and tools to disposition alerts with justified conclusions.
• Draft clear alert/case dispositions for SMR consideration and escalate as needed.
• Ensure timely completion of alerts, investigations, and SMRs within SLAs.
