Figma is growing its Interaction Design team to build runtime APIs for rich interactions and animations across Prototyping and Slides. This full-time role can be based in a US hub or remote within the United States.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing and leading a high output engineering team.
• 5+ years of engineering experience working on complex systems with emphasis on performance and reliability.
• Proven ability to mentor senior engineers and build high-performing teams.
• Experience partnering with product and development teams to build scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute on a long-term roadmap to improve runtimes and interactive experiences.
• Hire, manage, support and develop a team of engineers, including staff level engineers.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to set strategy and priorities.
• Lead by example in technical problem solving and cross-team collaboration.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing engineering culture across teams.
