Siemens Healthineers AG is seeking a senior leader to head the Intelligence Logic team, guiding CV imaging and workflow orchestration for next-generation endovascular robotics in an interdisciplinary, regulated medical device environment.

You will mentor engineers, shape AI-driven image analytics roadmaps, and ensure safe clinical workflow orchestration with cross-functional teams including hardware and clinical experts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or related field; PhD highly preferred.
• Experience leading engineers and software developers in a software or R&D org.
• Strong background in computer vision and medical image analysis (segmentation/registration/detection).
• Understanding of state-of-the-art deep learning methods; robotics concepts incl. state estimation, sensor fusion, MPC.
• Experience with Python and C++/Cuda; DevOps/MLOps lifecycle of ML models.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software developers in CV/AI imaging and workflow orchestration.
• Shape technical roadmap for AI-driven image analytics, sensor fusion, and workflow engines; collaborate with teams in Germany.
• Oversee development and evaluation of deep learning for real-time image analysis and procedural representations.
• Partner with CV, robotics, clinical, and hardware teams to ensure safe orchestration of workflows.
• Manage priorities, sprint planning, blockers, and DevOps/MLOps best practices across ML lifecycle.
• Work with multi-modal data (x-ray, C-arm, cone-beam CT, robotics, device sensing).
