Job summary

Campbell’s is seeking a Procurement Manager, Ingredients & Energy, to lead sourcing across oils, energy, beans and pulses with a $300MM annual spend. You will guide category strategy, risk management, supplier performance, and procurement excellence while managing a small team of buyers.

You will partner with Marketing, R&D, Finance, Operations, Quality, and ESG teams to support sustainable product initiatives and drive cost savings. A strong leadership and procurement background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Agribusiness, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 8-10+ years of experience in direct material sourcing, procurement, or supply chain functions.
• Deep knowledge of vegetable oil markets and energy markets.
• Experience developing and executing strategic sourcing strategies.
• Proven leadership in coaching and developing teams.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience with commodity risk management and market forecasting.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence decision-making and communicate with senior leaders.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work independently.
• Experience managing complex spend categories and adhering to codes of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and category management for vegetables oils, energy, dry beans, and pulses.
• Manage and develop a team of two Senior Buyers.
• Execute sourcing activities ensuring supply continuity, pricing, quality, and policy compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver TPV and cash flow initiatives.
• Support product innovation, sustainability, and brand value objectives.
• Develop market intelligence, price forecasts, and risk management strategies.
• Prepare monthly projections and sourcing recommendations for senior leadership.
• Partner with Treasury on hedging and forward contracting strategies.
• Conduct market analysis to identify pricing trends and opportunities.
• Lead SRM activities with strategic suppliers and seek new opportunities.
• Monitor TCO, budget performance, and financial risks across categories.
• Ensure SAP contracts and sourcing docs are accurate and timely.
• Support capital projects with Engineering and operations.
