Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S), a dynamic and fast-growing joint venture between Raytheon and Rafael, is seeking a results-driven and strategic Head of Industrial and Physical Security to lead our comprehensive security operations. In this pivotal role, you'll drive the execution of critical defense programs—including Iron Dome AUR production, Marine Corps Medium Range Intercept (MRIC), and next-generation Air Defense systems—while ensuring the highest standards of industrial and physical security.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned security professional to make a meaningful impact on national defense initiatives. You'll serve as the senior security leader and primary interface for our security function, providing strategic direction, risk-based recommendations, and senior-level oversight to management and company leadership.

As an Associate Director level position, you will serve as a key security advisor and primary executive interface to the company's Security Management Official and additional company leaders. You'll be the primary point of contact for government security stakeholders, legal counsel, and external security providers on all matters related to industrial security, FOCI, physical security, and security risk management. This role offers significant influence over strategic security decisions and the opportunity to shape security culture across a dynamic, mission-critical organization.

Key Responsibilities Industrial Security Leadership
  • Lead day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of the company's industrial security program in accordance with NISPOM, DCSA requirements, contractual obligations, and company policies
  • Directly manage and mentor Facility Security Officers, establishing clear priorities, responsibilities, performance expectations, and professional development pathways
  • Oversee implementation and ongoing compliance with the company's FOCI mitigation program, including governance, reporting, access controls, and security procedures
  • Serve as the primary executive liaison between the Security Management Official and senior company leadership
  • Act as a key point of contact with DCSA and other government security stakeholders on industrial security and FOCI matters
  • Advise leadership on security risks, compliance issues, emerging threats, and recommended mitigation measures
  • Lead security assessments, audits, inspections, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure security policies, procedures, records, and reporting accurately reflect applicable government and contractual requirements
Physical Security and Guard Force Oversight
  • Oversee comprehensive physical security programs protecting personnel, facilities, classified and sensitive information, and company property
  • Maintain effective access control, visitor management, badging, alarm, surveillance, and other physical security measures
  • Manage the company's contracted guard-force vendor, including performance evaluation, staffing, service levels, compliance, and contract requirements
  • Ensure guard-force operations meet company, contractual, regulatory, and government requirements
  • Assess physical security risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures
Security Operations and Incident Response
  • Oversee investigations and response to security incidents, including unauthorized access, security violations, threats, theft, property loss, and other security-related events
  • Maintain security-related emergency, contingency, and incident response plans
  • Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, government agencies, legal counsel, Human Resources, and other stakeholders as appropriate
  • Support security awareness initiatives and promote a culture of security accountability throughout the organization
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, National Security, or related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in industrial security, corporate security, defense contracting, government security, military security, law enforcement, intelligence, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading security programs within a cleared defense contractor or similarly regulated environment
  • Direct experience with NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and FOCI mitigation
  • Experience managing security personnel and overseeing contracted security or guard-force services
  • Strong understanding of industrial and physical security, risk management, investigations, and incident response
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leadership, government officials, legal counsel, and external security providers
  • Excellent leadership, communication, judgment, and organizational skills
  • DoD Secret level clearance

  • Prior experience as an FSO, senior industrial security professional, or security leader within a cleared defense contractor
  • Experience administering or supporting a government-approved FOCI mitigation arrangement
