Job summary

Irvine Technology Corporation (ITC) seeks a Head of IAM Product Strategy to own the identity strategy for extremely regulated environments. Lead a team of senior PMs, define a unified IAM strategy across Workforce IAM, CIAM, and Cloud IAM, and drive a three-year roadmap with a rolling 12–18 month plan grounded in investment cases.

You will build ROI models, report quarterly outcomes, and ensure identity controls comply with PCI DSS, SOX, GDPR/CCPA, and data residency requirements while advancing

Head of IAM Product Strategy

Our client is looking for a Head of IAM Product Strategy to own the identity strategy for an organization that operates at massive scale under strict regulatory standards. You’ll set the multi-year vision and roadmap across workforce, customer, and cloud identity, lead a team of senior product managers, and deliver measurable gains in risk reduction, user experience, and business value. This is a high-visibility leadership seat for someone who does well in a fast-changing environment and knows how to turn complex identity programs into clear business outcomes.

• Location: Hybrid (onsite 1-3 days per week) in Atlanta, GA or Cincinnati, OH (preferred); also open to Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Jeffersonville, IN; Lindon, UT; Oklahoma City, OK; San Francisco, CA; or Tempe, AZ
• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $95-$105/hr, with conversion at $200,000-$225,000 per year

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a team of product managers and identity strategists, building a culture of customer focus, measurable outcomes, and secure-by-default principles
• Define a unified IAM product strategy across Workforce IAM, Customer IAM (CIAM), and Cloud IAM, with a 3-year roadmap and a rolling 12-18 month plan backed by investment cases
• Make AI foundational to identity, including adaptive authentication, risk scoring, bot detection, anomalous access detection, and identity threat detection and response (ITDR)
• Reduce identity risk across cloud and SaaS (privileged access, orphaned accounts, toxic combinations, exposed secrets, shadow identities) while turning CIAM into a growth lever through passkeys, federated login, and lower-friction account flows
• Build ROI models, report business outcomes quarterly, and ensure identity controls meet PCI DSS, SOX, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR/CCPA, PSD2/SCA, and data residency requirements

What Gets You the Job:

• 12+ years in IAM product management or product strategy, including 6+ years leading managers and senior PMs
• Deep expertise across CIAM at scale, Workforce IAM and PAM, and Cloud IAM across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including multi-cloud patterns
• Proven track record delivering large-scale identity platforms (hundreds of thousands of identities or a global enterprise workforce) in a highly regulated environment, with measurable impact on risk, conversion, and cost
• Practical experience applying AI/ML to identity or security problems, along with fraud/risk systems, bot management, and ITDR
• Preferred: early-career consulting experience (PwC, Deloitte, Accenture, or similar) followed by in-house enterprise leadership; hands-on exposure to platforms such as Okta/Auth0, Microsoft Entra, Ping, ForgeRock, or CyberArk; CISSP or CISM
