Job summary

Patelco Credit Union is seeking a Vice President of Home Loans to lead the mortgage lending organization and a 75-person team. You will drive origination, fulfillment, and servicing while ensuring regulatory compliance and portfolio performance.

The role requires deep mortgage expertise, strategic leadership, and collaboration with Finance, Risk Management, and Executive Leadership to optimize pricing and growth, with a strong focus on member experience and enterprise risk control.

Qualifications

• BA degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years in home lending or mortgage area required.
• 5+ years senior management in home lending for a regulated institution.
• 3+ years experience delivering loans to the secondary market (Fannie/Freddie).
• Proficiency with MS Office; DU/Web-based origination systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute the strategic vision for the Home Loans organization.
• Lead a high-performing leadership team and ensure accountability.
• Drive mortgage origination, fulfillment, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop KPIs and monitor financial performance and risk.
• Respond to regulatory changes and manage partner relationships.
• Oversee pricing, portfolio and capital optimization strategies.
