Job summary

The Director of Operations – Home Healthcare at Preventive-Measures leads daily operations of the home healthcare agency, ensuring compliant patient care, financial performance, and operational efficiency. This role partners with clinical and administrative teams to drive service quality and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities include policy development, budgeting support, workforce development, and coordinating scheduling, billing, and support services across multiple branches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field required.
• Master's degree (MHA, MBA, MSN, or related field) preferred.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in home healthcare or healthcare operations.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation and home health regulations.
• Experience with budgeting, quality improvement, and operational management.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all day-to-day agency operations.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure efficient coordination of clinical, administrative, scheduling, billing, and support services.
• Monitor productivity, workflow, and operational performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, patient outcomes, and employee engagement.
• Partner with nursing and clinical leadership to ensure quality patient care.
• Support interdisciplinary collaboration among nurses, therapists, social workers, and home health aides.
• Monitor patient satisfaction and implement improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely initiation and continuation of patient services.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; Medicare/Medicaid/HIPAA/OSHA.
• Prepare for surveys, audits, and accreditation reviews; develop corrective action plans.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; monitor expenses.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate management staff; foster a collaborative environment.
• Establish performance goals and conduct evaluations; support retention and development.
