Job summary

Ripple is seeking a seasoned Head of Managed Services in New York to lead the Hedge Accounting practice, overseeing delivery, performance, and growth across FX and Interest Rate risk management. You will manage the Derivative Accountants and ensure rigorous standards, staffing, and KPI execution.

You will forecast capacity, make staffing calls, and resolve escalations while shaping the practice’s strategy and technical positions. This role requires deep hedge accounting fluency and leadership.

Qualifications

• CPA credential required; advanced degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, with emphasis on derivative instruments and hedge accounting under ASC 815 and IFRS 9.
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing accounting/finance teams, including managers.
• Strong communicator with ability to explain complex accounting to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the Hedge Accounting practice including forecasting capacity and staffing.
• Lead Hedge Accounting Managers and Derivative Accountants to deliver client engagements.
• Set and track KPIs for delivery quality and client satisfaction.
• Escalate and resolve novel or high-risk hedge accounting issues with auditors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform platform capabilities and service design.
