Job summary

Dell Medical School in Austin seeks a Director, Infrastructure and Operations to own the technology infrastructure and end-user service experience across Dell Medical School, UT Dell Medicine, and the UT Dell Medical Center. You will lead strategy, buildout, and ongoing operations for enterprise infrastructure.

The role covers Epic infrastructure, cloud and on-premises environments, network and endpoint management, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, budget and vendor management, and team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Seven or more years of progressive IT infrastructure leadership experience.
• Five or more years of experience managing infrastructure and support operations in a healthcare provider and hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year infrastructure strategy spanning cloud, on-premises, network, biomedical, endpoints, telecommunications, and AV.
• Lead Epic EHR infrastructure management and hosting responsibilities.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure (Azure) and network/endpoint management.
• Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity planning across infrastructure domains.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and team development.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a related field
