Job summary

Avem Health Partners is seeking a Director of Facilities Management to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, operations, and safety compliance of hospital facilities in Oklahoma City. You will supervise the facilities and Home Office Plant Operations teams, coordinate with vendors, and ensure projects meet timelines and budgets.

The role requires extensive healthcare facility experience, leadership, and strong problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Ten years of healthcare facility experience; capital projects experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day facilities, plant operations, and Home Office team.
• Oversees preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Develops operational/quality framework for hospital processes and systems.
• Manages vendor performance and procurement.
• Ensures compliance with safety protocols and building codes.
• Leads site assessments for new facilities and onboarding plans.
• Reads blueprints, codes, and specs.
• Coordinates construction and capital projects to budget.
• Promotes LEAN processes and process improvements.
