Job summary

Skydio, the leading US drone company, is seeking a senior mechanical/aerospace engineer to lead the design and development of the F10 platform from concept to production. You will own mechanical architecture, drive parts and assemblies, and ensure integration with electronics, software, and manufacturing teams.

You will manage a mechanical team, shape system-level designs, and collaborate across functions to deliver a scalable autonomous flight platform.

Qualifications

• Mastery of 3D CAD with complex assemblies; CATIA strongly preferred.
• Experience in aerospace or aviation design; problem-solving on mechanical, thermal, and systems-integration challenges.
• Proven leadership in delivering technically challenging products across design to mass production.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a cutting-edge vehicle platform from concept to production.
• Manage mechanical team and oversee development of winged vehicle and ground systems/dock.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development from prototype to mass production.
