Job summary

Tuyo is seeking a growth leader to drive customer acquisition and engagement across multiple markets. You will identify channels, build scalable funnels, and run experiments that turn inputs into meaningful growth metrics.

You will work directly with the founders and the product/engineering team to apply data-driven decisions, optimize campaigns, and create repeatable growth systems that convert users into long-term customers.

Our founders Jorge Izquierdo (previously cofounded Aragon) and Alejandro Perezpayá (previously executive at Allfunds) have decades of experience building incredible products and leading high-performance teams.

The job

You own how Tuyo grows. You find the people who need Tuyo, bring them in, get them to their first deposit, and keep them coming back.

You decide where our money and time go, what we test, and what we stop. As we grow, you build the team, the systems and the playbook that take us from thousands of customers to millions. You work directly with the founders and with our product and engineering team.

What That Looks Like

• Own the numbers. Signups, verified accounts, first deposits, active customers, and what each one costs us. You know them every morning, and you know why they moved.
• Find the channels that work for a product nobody has seen before: paid, referrals, creators, communities, partnerships, content, app stores and search, including AI search. Make bold bets like https://x.com/itstuyo/status/2052404971979550871 , stop what does not work, and scale what does.
• Own the funnel, your focus is top of the funnel, but landing valuable users is our metric not just app installs. Work closely with our product team to improve the leaky parts of the funnel.
• Turn word of mouth into a system. The best growth comes from customers who bring their friends. Build the referral and sharing loops that make every customer bring the next one.
• Pick our battles. Experiment to turn your ideas into answers or repeatable strategies; prioritize them. Decide where we push first, and how we win there each market.
• Tell our story. Find the right words that make people want our product.
• Grow the right way. Understand, set and respect the boundaries so every campaign is clear, honest, and within the rules of each market and ad platform.
• Build the growth team. Decide who we hire, which agencies and tools we use, and how a small team does the work of a large one.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone to own growth at Tuyo. Thousands of people in more than 130 countries already use Tuyo for their money. We are now looking for someone to turn that into a growth engine, and take it much further.

We care much more about who you are than about where you have worked. Almost everything about how we grow is yet to be built, and we are looking for someone who wants to build it.

Must have

• You have owned growth. You have been responsible for a growth number at a consumer product, and you moved it.
• Numbers first. You can build the funnel, read a cohort and tell a real result from noise. You pull your own data.
• Builder. You get things live yourself: a landing page, a campaign, an experiment, an automation. You do not wait for a team to exist.
• Depth in a channel. You have run real budgets on a paid channel, or built a referral or organic loop that kept growing on its own.
• Taste. You know a good message, a good creative, a good ad, a good piece of content, and a good onboarding screen when you see one, and you can explain why.
• Executive mindset. You see problems as challenges to own and solve. You set systems and a structure to create scalable growth. You leverage technology/AI to automate and optimize processes and workload. You are seeking to grow as Tuyo grows.
• Honesty. You tell us when something did not work. We prefer a clear "this failed" to a dashboard that hides it.
• Native/Excellent English, written and spoken.
• High standards. You set them for yourself. Nobody has to ask you.

Where you might be coming from

Growth at a consumer fintech, a crypto wallet or exchange, or a consumer app that grew fast. Performance marketing or lifecycle at a company that took growth seriously. A founder or early employee who ran growth because someone had to. Or something completely different that shows you are capable of leading our growth.

Nice to have

• You have grown a fintech, crypto or payments product, and you know the rules that come with marketing money.
• You already understand wallets, stablecoins, blockchains (Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana) and how onchain transactions work.
• You have built a referral program, a creator program or a community from zero.
• You have grown a product in many countries at once.
• You have led people/teams in the past, in-house or with agencies.
• You speak Spanish, or another language.

This is not a nine-to-five job. We expect you to be fully involved and to really care about what we are building. We are a small team doing something hard, and everyone here is fully in.

We pay at the top of the market for a company at our stage. We also expect more from you than a normal job, and we give you far more ownership.

The salary above is real and public. So is the equity: it is a real share of the company, and we will explain exactly what you get, what it is worth today, and how it vests.

What you get back: our office in Miami, a very talented and kind team, a real say in what this company becomes, and a share of it.
