Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club is seeking a Director, Rules and Competitions to oversee the conduct of pro and amateur events and to support the Masters Tournament, the Masters Tournament Foundation, and related championships. The role is based in Augusta, Georgia, requiring expert Rules knowledge and extensive tournament administration experience.

The successful candidate will coordinate Rules programing for Masters and women’s events, lead education for staff, and maintain essential relationships

Qualifications

• Exceptional knowledge and application of the Rules of Golf.
• Expert Rules certification from USGA / R&A Rules of Golf.
• Established credibility with golf administrators and players.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead Masters and Augusta National Women’s Amateur Rules preparations.
• Create and update Rules Committee documents and procedures.
• Support Cup and Tee Committee on course setup.
• Represent ANGC on Rules Committees at other championships.
• Lead internal Rules education for Tournament staff and volunteers.
• Collaborate with the Senior Director, Masters Tournament on budgeting and operations.
