Job summary

E-Space, based in Arlington, Texas, seeks a Head of Export and Trade Compliance to lead global regulatory strategy and day-to-day operations.

Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you will work with Procurement, Legal, Engineering, and Finance to grow our international footprint while ensuring compliance with ITAR, EAR, FTR, OFAC, and Customs.

The role requires building a high-performing team, establishing training programs, and staying ahead of evolving export controls to support growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in U.S. export/import compliance; 15+ years preferred.
• Deep knowledge of ITAR, EAR, FTR, OFAC, and Customs regulations.
• Juris Doctor degree required; strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global Export and Trade Compliance function across multiple sites and entities.
• Develop and operationalize robust internal controls, governance, and scalable processes for international trade compliance.
• Build and lead a team of skilled trade compliance professionals delivering high-quality service.
• Draft, oversee, and provide guidance on export licensing submissions and deemed export reviews; manage licensing programs.
• Interface with Government Contracts and Security teams to ensure cross-functional compliance.
• Maintain records, conduct self-audits, and respond to external audits; monitor regulatory changes.
