Soufflé Therapeutics is seeking a senior life sciences attorney to lead the contracting function across R&D and eventually commercial agreements. The role also owns global data privacy compliance (GDPR, HIPAA) for multi-regional studies with patient data, biospecimens, and genomics.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of legal experience (7+ in a similar role) and a J.D. from an accredited school, with strong drafting and negotiation skills and privacy framework expertise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of legal experience (mix of law firm and in-house).
• J.D. from an accredited law school; bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong contract drafting, redlining, and negotiation skills with privacy frameworks knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Own contracting function by leading end-to-end negotiation of research, development, and clinical agreements.
• Lead global data privacy compliance, including GDPR and HIPAA, for multi-regional studies.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and internal controls.
• Lead privacy impact assessments for clinical data flows in partnership with GC and IT.
