Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior frontend engineering leader in Fairfield, CT to drive multiple product-engineering teams focused on scalable UI platform work. You will define and implement micro-frontend architecture, React/TypeScript standards, and shared design-system patterns while coaching engineers and shaping delivery outcomes.

You will collaborate with Product Management to align roadmap, manage module contracts, and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines and quality practices across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong React 18+ experience with hooks and modern patterns.
• Solid TypeScript proficiency for scalable front-end code.
• Experience with Webpack 5 and module federation.
• Hands-on in micro-frontend architectures and API design.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2–3 product engineering teams with day-to-day management and technical presence.
• Set UI platform direction: micro-frontend architecture, shell SDK interfaces, and design-system patterns.
• Drive sprint planning, code reviews, and unblock delivery while improving reliability.
• Establish CI/CD for front-end modules with pipelines, tests, and safe rollouts.
• Ensure well-documented reusable UI capabilities and integration with backend services.
