Job summary

Einride seeks a Director of Network Strategy in the United States to design and optimize its transportation network, shaping lanes, hubs, and modal mix for cost, service, and capacity improvements.

You will model scenarios and collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Finance and Engineering to align network plans with business goals, leading a team of analysts to deliver data-driven recommendations to executives. MBA or master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain
• 3+ years in a leadership role
• Deep understanding of network design and freight economics
• Ability to influence executives and cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations research, business, or related field; MBA preferred

Responsibilities

• Own the long-term network strategy, including lanes, facilities, hubs, and modal mix.
• Lead network modeling and scenario analysis to guide capacity, capital, and expansion decisions.
• Partner with Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Engineering to align network plans with customer demand and business goals.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to reduce cost per mile, improve asset utilization, and strengthen service reliability.
• Evaluate new markets, partnerships, and technologies such as automation and electrification.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of analysts and strategists.
• Present recommendations and performance outcomes to executive leadership.
