Canonical is hiring a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead global FP&A teams and drive monthly reviews, forecasting, and annual planning. You will shape cross-functional alignment and develop the long-term FP&A roadmap with a data-driven mindset.

Ideal candidates excel in leadership, multi-currency finance, and strategic analysis, and will mentor teams across geographies while supporting an IPO process and investor materials.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in leading FP&A teams across geographies.
• Experience in a high growth, multi-currency technology business.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel internationally 2–4 times a year for events.

Responsibilities

• Develop executive reporting dashboards and Board materials.
• Analyze and report monthly results, KPIs, and forecasts.
• Provide commercial analysis and evaluate strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with product managers for market insights and competitive intelligence.
• Manage financial models: budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning.
• Drive data analysis improvements and define modeling techniques.
