Job summary

WesleyLife in Des Moines, IA seeks a Director of Staffing Resources to lead the FlexCare program, grow internal staffing, and drive operational excellence across WesleyLife communities.

You will monitor KPIs, partner with Talent Acquisition, and ensure financial performance while embedding scheduling best practices and workforce analytics. This is an on-site leadership role reporting to Operations.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressive leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
• Strong communication and relationship management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for the FlexCare program.
• Grow and sustain FlexCare as WesleyLife's internal staffing solution.
• Monitor KPIs including agency reduction, labor utilization, retention, and coverage.
• Maintain accountability for program financial performance and Zero Agency goals.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit, onboard, and retain FlexCare team members.
• Oversee deployment and utilization of FlexCare resources across communities.
• Create training tools and onboarding plans for FlexCare team members and schedulers.
• Supervise the Centralized FlexCare Scheduler for daily staffing coordination.
• Support scheduling best practices across communities for staffing consistency.
• Serve as SME for UKG platform scheduling, reporting, and forecasting.
• Align with community leadership to ensure equitable resource deployment.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement and program expansion.
• Plan regular stakeholder alignment meetings and site visits.
• Assist with timekeeping and payroll functions with communities.
