Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a proven Head of Finance for the Winston-Salem Technology Center to lead all financial activities and partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to drive profitability and strategic decisions.

You will oversee planning, reporting, forecasting, and governance, while developing the local Finance organization and serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, FP&A, Controlling, or a related financial discipline, preferably within the power industry or a multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, cost modeling, inventory management, product costing, transfer pricing, and financial governance with understanding of dependencies across Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Proven ability to lead financial planning and performance management, analyze complex business issues, and influence strategic decisions; previous experience managing direct reports is preferred.
  • Advanced financial, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills, including strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel; experience with Alteryx or other digitalization tools is preferred. Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
  • Willingness to relocate to Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

  • Identify financial risks, opportunities, and improvement areas, and develop recommendations that support sustainable business performance and operational efficiency.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate the Finance team while fostering strong collaboration across the organization and building effective relationships with key internal stakeholders.

As the Head of Finance for our Winston-Salem Operations, you will serve as a key financial leader for the site, partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other business functions to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making. What You Bring
