Job summary

Harvard Business Publishing in Boston seeks a Senior Director, Finance and Business Performance to lead long-range planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-support for the Higher Education unit. You will partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience and report to the unit leader and CFO.

You will drive financial modeling, targets, dashboards, and ROI analyses, build a nimble analytics function, and guide Sales Operations transformation while modernizing Salesforce governance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of financial planning, operations, BI, or analytics experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-range financial planning, revenue modeling, and profitability forecasting.
• Oversee budgeting, quarterly forecasts, monthly reporting, variance analysis, and Board updates.
• Develop dashboards and decision-support tools to drive performance.
• Manage BI and analytics teams, including external partners.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product to analyze trends and opportunities.
• Drive Sales Operations and pricing strategy alignment.
• Modernize processes and governance across Salesforce and IT/data teams.
