Head of Finance and Performance Management (FPM) Rail Infrastructure North America
Mobility North America’s Finance and Performance Management (FPM) team is looking for an experienced leader able to drive strategic decision-making, change and performance alongside business needs and the North American FPM vision and mission:

The role is to take comprehensive responsibility for all FPM related tasks and topics concerning Mobility’s business unit Rail Infrastructure in North America as a team leader of a diverse group, sparring partner of the responsible CFO line as well as primary point of contact for regional and global business unit (BU) partners.
- Drive performance through KPI-/fact-based transparency and convincing argumentations
- Create results quickly in a complex matrix organization and fast-paced business environment
- Communicate with and present to executive team members internationally, while building trustworthy relationships with them
- Drive continuous improvement and digitalization enabling tangible productivity
- Develop and mentor a team of expert finance professionals
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Reliable and timely reporting of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements alongside annual budgeting and monthly forecasting meeting respective business needs
- Monitor and analyze financial performance to proactively identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
- Development of decision proposals and strategies
- Preparation and presentation of reports to senior management and global partners
- Collaborate across own organization driving harmonization as well as digitalization of financial tools and processes
- Lead, coach and develop a highly motivated controlling department with focus on diversity and talent management
To thrive in this role, you have:
- Master’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field; may be substituted with substantial years of working experience in similar position(s)
- 8+ years of working experience in a finance related function, preferably controlling and commercial project management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach and can-do mentality
- Ability to effectively manage deadlines and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Assertiveness and resilience
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities; builds constructive and effective relationships across organizations and hierarchies
This career can be based in New York, NY or Pittsburgh, PA. We offer a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees, including PTO, 401k match, and tuition reimbursement. The base salary range for this position in Pittsburgh, PA, is $146,400 - $172,200 and in New York, NY is $175,700-$206,700 and the annual incentive target is 15% of the base salary. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
