About The Company:

An established specialist company offering a range of services to a diverse client base across the South-East.

The Role:

We are seeking a Head of Finance to join our client at a pivotal point in their growth cycle. This role will support further expansion as the company explores new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage all core finance functions including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
2. Maintain and enhance financial controls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and risk management across the business.
3. Oversee daily operations of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely and efficient processing.
4. Provide strategic financial insights and support to senior leadership to facilitate informed business decisions and sustainable growth.

Desirable Skills:

1. Qualified or part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
2. Proven experience in a hands-on finance leadership role within an SME or fast-paced services environment.
3. Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with excellent attention to detail.
4. Ability to implement and improve financial controls and operational finance processes.
5. Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems; experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite) is a plus.
