Job summary

Circuit SRE: Head of Forward Deployed Engineering leads the field deployment and technical win strategy with customers in manufacturing and industry sectors. You own architecture, demos, and production handoffs, interfacing with Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver measurable outcomes.

Hybrid role in a hands-on leadership capacity, traveling up to 25% to customer sites and pilots. You will mentor engineers while shaping our deployment framework for scalable success.

Qualifications

8–12+ years in Forward Deployed Engineering or related roles.
Proven track record owning the technical win in enterprise deals.
Strong fluency with APIs, data structures, and AI deployments.
Experience creating demos/POCs that scale.
Willing to travel up to 25%.
Domain knowledge in industrial/manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Forward Deployed Engineering team.
Build the FDE playbook from discovery to production.
Develop reusable demos and dataset templates.
Partner with Account Executives on strategic deals.
Lead technical discovery and tailor demos to workflows.
Architect and deploy agentic workflows with customers.
Define product requirements from field insights.
Scale the team and ensure handoffs to Customer Success.
