Job summary

Waséyabek Federal Group (WFG), a division of Waséyabek Development Company, LLC, seeks a Director of Operations & Maintenance Programs to lead DoD/DoE contracts from Grand Rapids, MI, remote. The role reports to the VP of Operations and oversees program managers, site leadership, and subcontractors to ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of progressive leadership in the Federal industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret or Q Clearance.
• Ten years working in Operations and Maintenance including BASOPS.
• Five years with 8(a) or other small business entities on Federal projects.
• Advanced knowledge of government regulations, proposals, and O&M standards.
• Strong communications with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for assigned O&M programs and contracts.
• Ensure contract requirements, performance standards, and customer expectations are met.
• Partner with Program Managers and site leadership to monitor program execution, staffing, risk, and performance.
• Support contract startup, transition, mobilization, and closeout activities.
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions and mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement for safety, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for government customers and key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
