Job summary

The New York City District Council of Carpenters Benefit Funds seeks an experienced Director of Facility Operations to lead administrative, records-management, mailroom, facilities and operational functions across the organization. The role requires strong leadership, project-management and vendor-management skills to keep services efficient, secure and uninterrupted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business/operations or facilities management.
• 5–7 years in operations, records management, facilities or project management, including staff supervision.
• Experience supervising multi-department projects and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Records Department, Mailroom and operational functions with staff.
• Oversee records digitization, scanning and retention initiatives.
• Manage mail operations, courier services and secure document handling.
• Coordinate facilities moves, space planning and vendor management.
• Prepare status reports for leadership and maintain controls.
