Job summary

AL Solutions seeks a Senior Director, Head of Facilities & Engineering in San Diego to lead Facilities, Engineering, Maintenance and EHS in a regulated biologics manufacturing environment. The role reports to the VP of Global Engineering & Manufacturing and drives capital projects, site infrastructure, and reliability initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Facilities & Engineering experience in cGMP-regulated environments.
• 5+ years of leadership experience with supervisory personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of Facilities, Engineering, Maintenance, and EHS operations.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance and calibration programs for equipment reliability.
• Oversee external facilities management providers and ensure contractual compliance and performance.
• Manage budgets, CAPEX planning, and engineering project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, cGMP, and applicable safety requirements.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to improve uptime and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop engineering and facilities teams with cross-functional collaboration.
