Job summary

Renew Home is seeking a Senior Manager of Communications to shape the external voice and manage all external-facing channels, including press, media events, and social media. The role collaborates with energy trade press and top financial outlets, guiding milestones and leadership communications.

The ideal candidate has deep energy-sector media relationships, is an exceptional writer, and thrives in high-growth environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of communications experience, with meaningful energy-sector experience.
• Strong existing relationships with energy trade press and tier-1 financial/business journalists.
• Exceptional writing and spokesperson skills, comfortable being coached and coaching others.

Responsibilities

• Lead media relations across energy trade media and tier-1 outlets.
• Plan and execute partner announcements and press releases from draft to coverage.
• Build executive visibility: interviews, speaking slots, podcast appearances, and coaching leadership.
• Develop talking points and lanes for company voices; secure opportunities for visibility.
• Identify spokespeople and pursue thought leadership that builds leadership and brand momentum.
• Own external social channels and ensure consistency with the narrative.
• Lead communications around milestones, growth moments, and alignment with leadership.
