Job summary

Stealth Educational Startup is seeking a Director of External Affairs to lead our public credibility and donor campaigns for K-12 gifted and talented scholarships. You will setup credible media presence, engage with reporters, and grow partnerships that convert visibility into funding.

You will oversee messaging, ensure legal accuracy, and manage influencer and corporate partnerships. This is a remote, full-time role in the United States, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in gifted education field or equivalent experience with families trust in gifted education
• Experience speaking to media or policymakers and representing an organization
• Proven ability to source and sign partnerships or MOUs with organizations or media
• Ability to explain complex tax policy to general public and maintain accuracy

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal spokesperson for gifted education across media and conferences
• Set messaging and produce video/social content while ensuring factual accuracy
• Build and manage a portfolio of partnerships with companies, associations and media influencers
• Negotiate and close partnership agreements and influencer arrangements that drive donations
• Track and report partner performance, donations, and media engagements, adjusting strategy as needed
