Thornton Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Chief Estimator to lead the Preconstruction/Estimating team in Miami, FL. You will drive detailed cost estimates, develop price models, and coordinate GMP/bid strategies across ground-up and renovation projects.

You will manage a team of estimators, collaborate with project managers and owners, and ensure accurate, timely bids aligned with corporate financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; 15+ years estimating experience required.
• 5+ years as Preconstruction Director or Chief Estimator in GC setting.
• Proven cost estimating and analysis across all project stages.

Responsabilités

• Lead Preconstruction/Estimating for ground-up and renovation projects.
• Develop cost models and maintain cost history databases.
• Coordinate GMP and CMAR approaches with project teams.
• Review owner contracts for cost implications and risks.
• Manage staff scheduling, workload, and bid submissions.
