Job summary

Caris Life Sciences seeks a Senior Director of Strategic Events to lead an enterprise-wide events program, aligning with growth and brand priorities. You will guide trade shows, executive experiences, scientific meetings, and customer engagement initiatives across the organization.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with large-scale conferences, and collaboration with C-suite executives to drive measurable ROI and innovative experiences in a fast-paced healthcare technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business administration, hospitality management, event management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic events, conference management, experiential marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience developing and managing high-performing teams.
• Proven success delivering large-scale conferences, executive meetings, and customer engagement programs.
• Experience interacting with C-suite leaders, customers, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise events strategy aligned with growth objectives and brand priorities.
• Establish a long-term roadmap for trade shows, customer experiences, executive engagements, scientific meetings, and internal events.
• Drive event innovation with emerging technologies and AI-enabled experiences.
• Collaborate with executives to maximize strategic value and ROI.
• Provide strategic oversight for major corporate, commercial, scientific, and customer-facing events.
• Lead planning and execution of national sales meetings, leadership meetings, advisory boards, conferences, and product launch events.
• Develop executive hospitality and VIP programs to support key relationships.
• Ensure events reinforce brand standards and corporate priorities.
• Set governance to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability of events.
• Manage budgets, vendor negotiations, and contracts to maximize value.
