NetJets is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering (Database) to lead enterprise database platforms and modernize operations. You will manage a team of DBAs and engineers, drive cloud adoption, automation, and architecture decisions for Oracle, SQL Server, and cloud databases.

The role emphasizes securing mission-critical operations, 24x7 resilience, and collaboration across software, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years administering and engineering Oracle and MS SQL Server environments.
• Proven leadership of database teams in large enterprise environments.
• Experience with cloud migration, automation, and CI/CD for databases.
• Strong scripting: PowerShell and Unix shell.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of database admins and engineers.
• Lead architecture, HA/DR, and modernization initiatives.
• Oversee database performance, security, and backups.
• Collaborate with software, security, and infra teams.
