Job summary

NetJets is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering in Columbus, OH to lead distributed software teams, own technical roadmaps, and deliver cloud-native solutions that power an exceptional owner experience. You will mentor engineers, drive Agile practices, and collaborate with product partners to align technology with business goals.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and .NET, with AWS and cloud-native patterns preferred.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of software engineering experience with leadership in mid-to-large enterprises.
• Hands-on background in Java/JavaScript/TypeScript/.NET and cloud-native apps.
• Experience designing, building, and supporting cloud-native applications (AWS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, mentor, and manage performance of technical resources based on outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership across design, development, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Own the technical roadmap and translate business capabilities into delivery plans.
• Lead Agile delivery with backlogs, sprints, standups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Drive cloud adoption, modernization, and secure, scalable architectures.
• Own incident response, post-mortems, and service restoration efforts.
