The role combines leadership, architecture, and operational excellence, building scalable data platforms and pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing.
• 10+ years of people leadership and coaching leaders.
• Proven success leading enterprise-scale data warehouse or lakehouse platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead vision, roadmap, and operating model for data warehouse engineering.
• Direct multiple teams responsible for data warehouse development, data marts, data models, and pipelines.
• Modernize data platform with governance, testing, observability, and automation.
• Establish engineering standards for reliability, performance, and data quality.
• Partner with stakeholders to align data strategy with business priorities.
• Design end-to-end data processing solutions for analytics, operations, and AI use cases.
• Lead capacity planning, tool decisions, and resource allocation across the function.
• Champion data governance and reduce technical debt; promote AI/automation enhancements.
