Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years in on-premise IT systems and architecture.
• At least 3 years as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect.
• At least 3 years cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• At least 3 years’ experience leading a technical team.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Establishes architectural best practices within the Infrastructure Engineering division.
• Promotes the EA discipline and develops key architectural skills.
• Builds relationships with internal customers to understand needs and roadmaps.
• Develops and communicates system documentation for business and technical audiences.
• Guides roadmaps for business and technical capabilities.
• Designs reference and solution cloud/hybrid architectures and oversees implementations.
• Explores emerging infrastructure technologies and builds prototypes.
• Leads the Cloud Infrastructure Center of Excellence; develops budgets and roadmaps.
• Oversees the Technology Architecture Committee and ESAB leadership representation.
• Mentors a team of architects and engineers.
