Job summary

Weill Cornell Medicine in New York seeks a Senior Manager, Enterprise Infrastructure & Cloud Architect to lead on-premise and cloud infrastructure efforts within a hybrid environment. The role oversees a small team of architects and engineers and drives cloud-first initiatives across the organization.

The candidate will promote enterprise architecture practices, partner with business units to align roadmaps, and deliver scalable reference architectures for both on-premise and cloud platforms,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in traditional on-premise IT systems and architecture.
• 3+ years as Technical/ Solution/ Enterprise Architect or equivalent.
• 3+ years with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• 3+ years leading a technical team.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, version control, and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Set architectural best practices within Infrastructure Engineering.
• Promote EA discipline and develop necessary skills.
• Build relationships with internal customers to define success.
• Develop and communicate system documentation for business and technical audiences.
• Guide roadmaps and strategic planning for infrastructure capability initiatives.
• Design reference and solution cloud/hybrid architectures and oversee implementations.
