Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc is seeking an IT Infrastructure architect to lead the deployment of hybrid cloud platforms and on-premise solutions with a focus on cost efficiency and security. You will collaborate with IT teams and vendors to deliver scalable infrastructure and enterprise standards across environments.

Responsibilities include design, deployment, and optimization of cloud-native and legacy integrations, as well as mentoring and strategic input on technology

Qualifications

• 7+ cumulativ​e years experience or equivalent in IT infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; related field.
• Experience with research, design, and implementation of technologies.
• Infrastructure operations and project delivery experience essential.
• Scripting and automation experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as high level escalation for ops in assigned areas.
• Lead proof-of-concept testing in lab environments.
• Create infrastructure design documents for production deployments.
• Deploy new technology to production and maintain docs.
• Design infrastructure to meet business requirements.
• Support enterprise server environments and cost optimization.
